A weekly soulful gathering of intentional movement with a live DJ. Hosted in the warm + welcoming Owen Wood Farm & Neighborhood Space.

Live Wire is an embodied ritual theatre practice, grounded in the 5Rhythms®, devoted to the shapeshifting nature of art, and guided by the vision of Lorca Simons and Gabrielle Roth. Designed to inspire, refresh, and connect, the work includes movement, creative storytelling, and expressive arts.

The practice of the 5Rhythms is said by Gabrielle Roth to put the body in motion in order to still the mind. The five rhythms (in order) are Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. The 5Rhythms, when danced in sequence, are known as a "Wave."
